On Friday we headed down to the Wellness Exchange held by Enterprise Nation.
Enterprise Nation is the UK’s most active small business network and a leading campaigning voice for small business. Joining Enterprise Nation connects you with over 70,000 start-up entrepreneurs, small business owners and enterprise experts.
The day was full of inspiring talks from retail buyers, entrepreneurs and experts from the wellness industry for this one-day extravaganza.
We enjoyed talks from Harry Thuillier, co-founder of Oppo Ice Cream. He talked us through his start up journey and how he got stocked in Waitrose, Wholefoods and many other top retailers. We also enjoyed listening to Stephanie Peritore, founder of Mindful Bites and Kat Pither, founder of the awesome Yogi Bare yoga mats. Hearing their stories, both successes and failures, was hugely insightful.
We got the chance to meet with the buyers from Holland and Barrett, Planet Organic and John Lewis, where Enterprise Nation members who attended the event had the exclusive opportunity to apply to pitch products to the buyers on stage.
Followed by an awesome panel session with Sophie Scott the editor of Balance Magazine, Rosie Davies, angency director and founder of LFA Agency and Helen Morris founder of Samsara Communications. They answered all our questions on reaching out to press, when to start using pr for your brand and other top PR tips!
The day ended with an insightful talk on how to build your wellness business on Facebook and Instagram, giving us all the most up to date tricks and tips to try and increase engagement and brand awareness.
We would highly recommend attending an Enterprise Nation Event, check out their website to see all their upcoming events and meet ups.
